Subject: Speaking The Truth In Love
Subject: Speaking The Truth In Love
It was no accident that I happened upon one of this man's works (Trials and Triumphs of Faith) in a used bookstore, back in 1996. I was so spiritually impressed and uplifted after reading this book, that I copied and sent a moving story, within the chapter on Job, to a Christian friend, online. Upon doing a search for Mr. Boyd, many years later, I discovered that the story I had sent out was listed on several websites of a biblical/inspirational nature. "This man, being dead, yet speaketh." Then, I was joyful to see six of Boyd's books available for downloading, including "Trials and Triumphs" on this wonderful site, Internet Archive. Robert Boyd's writings, as a faithful messenger of God, depend wholly on the Holy Scriptures (KJV) and honors the Lord Jesus Christ, above all, with constant mention of Him shedding His blood and giving His life for the salvation of hell-bound sinners, which ALL persons are from birth. To the unsaved person, there are no places for hiding or comfort until this all-important matter of personal salvation is dealt with. To the saved person who reads these works, abundant blessings are in store. It could be concluded then, that it wasn't Robert Boyd, himself, that moved my heart, but the Holy Spirit. Boyd speaks in an honest and practical manner and gives excellent, scriptural instruction. He is firm, yet humble. He is grave about salvation, yet gentle and persuasive. I look forward to meeting this man in Heaven. For those who downloaded his works, I am confident they'll be greatly blessed and encouraged to greater service for Jesus Christ our Lord. Please keep your eyes open for two of Robert Boyd's other works mentioned in "Food For The Lambs," namely "The World's Hope" and Grace and Truth." If I could personally aquire these books, I would immediately donate them to this web site to secure their greatest use. May God's Word, the bible, the Living Word, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit move all those who have an ear to hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches, on to higher ground. Amen!
